I've created this blog mainly to vent my thoughts similarly to most other people who have them, and to also use it as a bit of a webzine for my musical interests. Expect reviews of shows, release reviews, maybe even some interviews as time goes on.
I've been pretty down lately, a failed attempt of getting away from Stoke on Trent has been one of the main factors in this, and the fact that it seems impossible to get a decent job in this countries current economical climate doesn't help either. Having to shave off my moustache for some stupid interview has also annoyed me.
A few things have brightened my life in the last couple of days;
Eagle Owls:
Yes, as in the animal. I'm a real big fan of owls, and Eagles Owls are massive, I mean at least a couple of feet tall in height, with a massive wing span and these cute sort of ears. Me and my mother went to Asda yesterday to find a whole array of owls, they we're from a sanctuary in Leek and we're collecting for Children in Need. I stood looking at them for ages, what amazing animals.

Fucked up and SSS:
Well they played the Sugarmill a couple of days ago, and after seeing both bands before I knew what to expect, but I was blown away. I'm not going to go into too many details on here right now, as I'm in the process of knocking together a little gig review at the moment, I'll put it up on here as soon as I'm done.
It was awesome, no one was there, something which confused me a great deal. This common of the Stoke scene though, the same set of people come to the same shows time and time again, and although it was nice to see some new faces, it was still disapointing.
